Sept. 2008 - December 2008: Green\ Blackbelt at ING Product management Savings
Responsibility : Designing a front to end cross organisational process in order to fulfill the response to marketing activities for new customers including new saving accounts. 10 departments/business units involved.
Task: Setting up and executing this Blackbelt project based on the DMAIC methodology, from line of sight sessions with stakeholders to embedding control systems to track progress and status.
Target: Imbed the processes in the organisation within 12 weeks after kickoff.

July 2008 - August 2008: Green\ Blackbelt at ING Retail Marketing MKB
Responsibility : Improving front to end cross organisational processes in order to fulfill the response to marketing activities for deposits. 9 departments/business units involved.
Task: Setting up and executing this Blackbelt project based on the DMAIC methodology, from line of sight sessions with stakeholders to embedding control systems to track progress and status.
Target: Imbed the processes in the organisation within 4 weeks after kickoff.

April 2008 - December 2008: Sr Purchasing Consultant a.i. at De Nederlandsche Bank NV
Responsibility: To design and coordinate the European tender for the new generation of Euro banknotes, from initiation to closure of contracts.
Tasks: Formulate business strategies with internal clients and translate business requirements into the tenders. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and advise in legal matters involving procurement in general.

Responsibility : Project manager for designing and implementing strategic procurement processes. Member of Project management team.

Responsibility: Project manager of a team of 16, for drafting proposals for reorganising the procurement section of DNB
Tasks: Design and plan a reorganisation for Procurement to become fully compliant with procurement Law and improve procurement savings > 3mln Euro within 18 months.
Achievements: The Board of Directors accepted the proposal without major adjustments

September 2006: - May 2007 Project manager Six Sigma Greenbelt
Tasks: Redesign the invoice flow (15.000 annually) within DNB in order to reduce handling cost and time. Managed a project team of 6 people, reporting to head of Accounting
Achievements: Handling time is expected to drop by 50 %, number of errors is expected to drop to a minimum


June 2005- May 2007: Business consultant
Task: Provide academic input for setting up European Procurement Office within the ESCB from grassroots. Design a procurement office in order to pool purchase power and share knowledge and execute a survey on size, composition and status of Procurement among European participants. Analysis of results and co-author of the final report. Reporting to head of Dutch Delegation.
Achievements: Final report was accepted by the Governing Council with minor adjustments. Start-up of Central Procurement Office selection process is expected to start in fall of 2007.

May 2004 - January 2005: Implementation manager
Task: tracking progress on the implementation of the merger between DNB and the Pensioen- & Verzekeringskamer. Reporting to Board level management.

October 2001 - March 2008: Senior Purchasing Consultant
Responsibility: To chair, design and coordinate European tenders, mostly for IT projects, from initiation to closure of contracts.
Tasks: Formulate business strategies with internal clients and translate business requirements into tenders. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and advise in legal matters involving procurement in general.
Achievements: Saving an average of > 10% on budget and internal process cost with full customer satisfaction.
